The Green Affordable Housing Coalition's first forum brought together experts in housing preservation, finance and green retrofits to address some of the challenges and barriers to finding the financial support needed to green existing affordable housing. Presenters examined what green retrofit financing sources are available now, what financing sources are still needed, what are the barriers to activating these sources and what is coming down the pipeline. For more information about the forum, please read NHC’s press release and view Todd Trehubenko and Rick Samson’s presentations.
