Small Kansas Town Chooses to Build Green As It Recovers From Tornado

After two years, Greensburg, Kansas is working to rebuild a town that was nearly destroyed in a mile-and-a-half wide tornado with 205 mph winds. Despite the devastation that descended upon this small town, Greensburg is choosing to rebuild and build new environmentally-friendly properties as part of the recovery process with the new mantra “Greensburg: Better, Stronger, Greener!” This new eco-friendly construction is chronicled below in a recent segment from the CBS Evening News.
