Nathan Park joined NHC as a policy and research associate in January 2019. Previously, Nathan interned at the Alliance to Save Energy, an energy efficiency nonprofit, where he provided policy and research support on a variety of topics, including buildings system efficiency and low-income efficiency. During his time in undergrad, Nathan was a special assistant to the president at the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), where he worked on updating LIIF’s Social Impact Calculator, a tool that monetizes the social impact of community development investments.
In 2018, Nathan graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with an Interdisciplinary Studies Field B.A. As part of his degree, Nathan spent two months in Berlin, Germany and three months in San Francisco conducting research for his thesis on energy efficiency retrofits in low-income multifamily housing, which was awarded high honors.
